The "WE SUPPORT YOUR TEAM" BBC advert.
To advertise football programmes on the BBC, sports presenter Ray Stubbs was wrapped in more than 100 football scarves. The advert which now appears on YouTube is speeded up making it difficult to identify the scarves. "Is my team there?", can now be answered.
Having made the advertisement the scarves were put away in storage until they were auctioned for 'Children in Need' 2010.
Ray Stubbs starts the video by wearing a Tranmere Rovers scarf, a club he played for. This scarf and some others used in the video are missing. Manchester United, Chelsea, West Ham, Newcastle and a QPR scarf failed to appear. Of the "WE SUPPORT YOUR TEAM BBC" section of the scarf only the "WE" is currently accounted for.
