Entry cost 100 Krone, about £10. There was no match ticket or programme.
Vidar were 2-0 up by half time add quickly added a third at the start of the second half. Asane scored what seemed to be a consolation goal and with another 2 late goals went into injury time at 3-3. The winner for Vidar was scored in the 96th minute.

A fifteen minute bus ride from Stavanger centre stops outside the Viking (pronounced Vee-keeng) Stadion.
Entry cost 300 Krone with concessions at 150Kr and 100Kr. With a Uefa cup place possible, the press were predicting a 10,000 crowd. Heavy rain and being live on TV may have deterred some fans. A free 4 page programme was given on entry.
The home team went three goals up during the second half but there was to be no dramatic finale of the day before.
